Rhett Corker
Associate
Rhett brings a rare combination of practical experience and strategic thinking, having worked across frontline nursing, remote minesite paramedicine, international public health, philanthropy and community implementation.
At ThirdStory, Rhett partners with communities, organisations and government to design and implement approaches that strengthen men's participation in the primary prevention of Family and Domestic Violence. Through initiatives such as This is Manly, he supports communities to identify local champions, develop practical engagement strategies and build capability that can be sustained beyond individual projects.
Prior to joining ThirdStory, Rhett was General Manager and Head of Practice at the Kai Fella Foundation, where he designed the organisation's evidence-informed workshop model, facilitator capability framework and organisational systems. Before this, he established and led Tomorrow Man's WA operations, growing the organisation from a single facilitator into a statewide team.
Earlier in his career, Rhett managed the Movember Foundation’s Australia and New Zealand mental health investment portfolio before contributing to the organisation's global mental health strategy, working alongside leading universities, researchers and community organisations to strengthen implementation and evaluation across large-scale mental health initiatives. He also contributed to the World Health Organization's suicide prevention capacity-building work, developing implementation resources for low-resource settings.
Rhett is recognised for translating complex ideas about masculinity, mental wellbeing and prevention into practical approaches that resonate with everyday men and inspire meaningful action.
